Md Arifur Rahman (publishes as Arif Rahman) joined BRAC University as a contractual Lecturer and Lab Coordinator in Fall 2022, where he taught undergraduate courses in Circuits, Electronics, Logic Design, and Microprocessors. Prior to joining BRAC University, he worked as a Research Assistant (RA) at the NSU Optics Lab and as a Teaching Assistant (TA) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North South University (NSU). 

He completed his B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, at NSU, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the top of his class with a concentration in Solid-State Electronics.
 

He left BRAC University in Spring 2024 to pursue a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering (Photonics) at the University of California San Diego (UC San Diego), USA.
