Dr. Md. Sakir Hossain is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at BRAC University, Bangladesh. Prior to this, he held the same position in the Department of Computer Science at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

Dr. Hossain is an accomplished academic and researcher with expertise in communications, cybersecurity, and signal processing. He earned his Ph.D. in the field of Wireless Networks from Saitama University, Japan, and received both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also conducted postdoctoral research at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic.

His research interests cover a broad range of topics, including applied machine learning, cybersecurity, medical image processing, and wireless communication systems.

Dr. Hossain is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA.
